What we do:
Responsibilities of the environmental worker:
Weekly checks of each room.
Identify light bulbs that need to be changed, repairs that are needed, improvements to make.
The Pre-schooler can:
Point out environmental problems.
Assist with minor repairs.
As they get older:
Plan improvements.
Help with repairs.
Collect materials needed.
Write lists of concerns.
To make it fun:
Design a hide-out.
Personalize bedrooms.
Help shop for supplies.
Have kids' tools.
Character building:
Be aware of your surroundings.
Make plans.
Complete projects.
Take responsibility.
